Wraparound Prayer Hug
Posted on Jul 2, 2014 in A Team lead by Ken Smith, a retired RCMP officer is leading us in a city-wide prayer event
we are inviting all churches to participate and to enthusiastically promote this significant prayer
opportunity which has been endorsed by the Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship of Moncton.
WRAPAROUND PRAYER HUG
We are inviting as many people as possible to attend the Wraparound Prayer Hug on Friday
July 4th at 5:30 AM. We will gather at the Sears end of the Champlain Mall and then walk in
silent prayer to the RCMP headquarters at 520 Main St. Others will join us along the route
and then we will form a wrap around the entire facility for the end and start of a new shift at
0600 hours. We will stand in silence, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand and pray for God’s
healing, peace and protection over the many police officers, civilian staff and their families.
We need 300 participants for each prayer circle!
This event will also be the beginning of 40 Days of Prayer for Moncton.
