“Growing Your Church Young” Workshop

Presented by Joel Murphy, Associate Director of Youth & Family Ministries Of Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada on Saturday, October 26th from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Surrey Valley Baptist Church, 3039 Main St., Hillsborough. This is a free workshop with Coffee & Tea provided.
It’s for ANY adult attending a congregation but we encourage those in leadership of any type within the church to attend. Engaging teenagers and young adults is challenge for many of our local congregations. The CBAC Youth and Family Department is so excited to partner with youth pastors, volunteers, parents, and anyone who cares about the next generation to offer the Growing Young Workshop! This interactive workshop is developed using the content of ‘Growing Young’ study done out of Fuller Youth Institute. These researchers discovered hundreds of growing churches who held 6 core commitments in common that keep teenagers and young adults coming back for more.
